The ministry added that 16 people were killed and 55 others were wounded as a result of Israeli raids on the Nabatieh governorate in southern Lebanon, and 7 people were killed and 22 others were wounded as a result of raids on the Bekaa governorate.
The ongoing Israeli raids on the Baalbek-Hermel governorate in eastern Lebanon resulted in the death of 16 people and the wounding of 48 others, and 4 people were killed and 4 others were wounded as a result of raids on the capital Beirut.
This comes as Israeli aircraft launched raids tonight on the southern suburb of the Lebanese capital, Beirut, after warnings issued by the Israeli entity asking residents of the southern suburb to evacuate some buildings and stay away from them for a distance of no less than 500 meters.

He added: "We are monitoring the development of the situation hour by hour," noting that some civilian employees in /UNIFIL/ have been evacuated to northern Lebanon.
The UNIFIL force, which has more than 10,000 troops, has been stationed in southern Lebanon since 1978 to secure the border area between Lebanon and the occupied Palestinian territories. It is responsible for monitoring the implementation of Security Council Resolution 1701, which stipulates that only the Lebanese army and UNIFIL are deployed in southern Lebanon. Therefore, it must conduct patrols along the Blue Line, the dividing line established by the United Nations between Lebanon and the occupied Palestinian territories.
