This is Blinken’s 11th trip to the region since October 7, returning to the region after his last trip a month ago.
The State Department announcement did not mention the other countries Blinken will visit.
Blinken will arrive in the region as Israel prepares to attack Iran in response to an Iranian ballistic missile barrage on Israel earlier this month.
US and Israeli officials have been discussing the response in recent weeks, with Israeli officials telling Washington they will refrain from launching attacks on Iranian nuclear or energy sites that could lead to a major escalation between the two countries.
