Creativity Thrives: A Lifeline for At-Risk Youth

The Creativity Thrives project is an innovative program addressing the challenges faced by at-risk youth. The project, lead by child psychologist Dr. Rebecca Sutton and renowned artist, Allen Rickards, uses art as a vehicle to engage young people, provide them with a creative outlet and equip them with essential life skills.

This program involves collaboration among local schools, community organizations and volunteers to create an environment that fosters self-expression, self-discovery and therapeutic healing. Participating youth are offered mentorship and rigorous art sessions. They are also exposed to different artistic disciplines such as painting, sculpture, photography and drama, channeling their energy and emotions into constructive output.
